I created this little corner of the internet with the intent to document my experiences, and share my travel and dining journey with the world. What started as a casual hobby has become a passion, and I believe that I have managed to stay true to that.

I grew up in London and Singapore, and studied Law at University. It doesn’t automatically marry itself with a love for eating. But I’m always planning the next flight and dreaming of the next tasty morsel. My page is my side-baby to my job, documenting where I eat, travel to and stay.

My love of travelling and food stems from my Eurasian roots. My British-Polish father and Malaysian-Chinese mother crossed paths in Asia. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, as for me too, ‘home’ has always been impermanent. First London, then Singapore, then York, Leeds, Hong Kong, and back to London.

I decided to start writing about my opinions on my go-to restaurants, hotels and experiences. For the last few years, I was seduced by glitzy short-form instant gratification on Instagram; mindless scrolling, of 'liking', and instantly forgetting.

That's not to say I don't enjoy it - it's a visual tool,  and I must've been enjoying some part of it, otherwise I would have stopped. However, I also really like words, reading, and writing. There is something quietly satisfying about it - similar to the feeling of being the only one engrossed in a good book in a sea of commuters glued to their phones on the tube to work.

Here, I'll share my travel experiences, personal musings and favourite things. This blog chronicles my experiences, thoughts, and endeavours on my globe trot through life. I also write freelance for CSP Times.
